First Photo of the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi F430 GT Roller Coaster

In a few months time, the rich and famous of our world will have their own automotive 'Disney Land' with the opening of the new Ferrari World theme park in Abu Dhabi. Among the twenty or so rides and attractions featured at the park will be the GT roller coaster and this here is the first photograph of the car .

Each coaster vehicle in this particular ride is a replica of a Ferrari F430 Spider that can seat up to four people. According to Ferrari, the GT Racing Coaster will send two competing roller coaster carriages dashing along twisting parallel tracks on a race to the finish line.

Aside from the GT Racing Coaster there will also be an F1 ride which is said to be world's fastest roller coaster travelling at speeds in excess of 200 km/h (125mph) and shooting passengers more than 62 m through the roof and back down again to offer them a G-force experience.

The world's first Ferrari theme park and the largest attraction of its kind is scheduled to open on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi in the second half of 2010. For more information on the park, click here to check out our previous post.

The Wedding Crashers: Lamborghini Murcielago Smashes Into Ferrari F430 at South African Reception

In the well-known Hollywood comedy, divorce mediators and life-long friends John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) had a weird hobby of crashing weddings to meet single women.

But in this real-life South African parody, the two drivers of the Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Murcielago took the term "wedding crashers" a bit too literally as they somehow managed to crash into each other during a VIP wedding reception at a sports club in the town of Eshowe.

According to local news sites, the drivers of the two cars are Romeo Mbambo, said to be a former IFP hitman, and a man known only as ND Sibiya.

While the two men escaped injuries, witnesses at the scene claim that the drivers became aggravated when people started to take pictures of the cars, and allegedly assaulted one man, threatened a local journalist and seized mobile phones with cameras.

Apparently, they didn't succeed too well in hiding the incident from the press...

VIDEO: Truck Literally Drops Off Ferrari F430 Spider at Boston Dealership...

We're pretty sure that when this truck driver's boss told him to drop off the red Ferrari 430 Spider at Ernie Boch's luxury car dealership in Norwood, which is located just outside of Boston, this wasn't what he had in mind...

The expensive drop off was caught on camera by the helicopter news crew of Skyfox. Watch the video and weep for the Prancing Horse model after the jump.

Thanks for the nod Maria! Via: Skyfox and Jalopnik

Hamann Ferrari F430 Spider

Another week, another Hamann Ferrari F430. Well, this time it’s the rag-top F430 and thanks God, without all the “Black Miracle” coloured blasphemy. Hamann’s Spider has received a discreet bodykit promising to optimize aerodynamics with the addition of a front spoiler, a newly designed rear diffuser and a rear spoiler -we could do without that. Interestingly, all add-on parts are optionally available in carbon-kevlar or fiberglass version. You can also choose between a variety of multispoke 19’’ or 20’’ rims. Mechanic-wise, Hamann’s Spider gets the same treatment as the Black “plague” Miracle with a new high-performance sports exhaust system including a high-performance collector and sports catalysts that allows a a performance increase of 50Hp putting up the total output to 540Hp.Via: Motorpassion , Source Hamann

Hamann Ferrari F430 Black Miracle

Here at Carscoop we wouldn’t dare call Hamann’s newest Ferrari based creation a “Miracle”; a bleached disaster maybe, but a miracle? No way. Matt black paint, orange-juice stripes and 20’’ rims apart, Hamann’s individualized F430 also boasts Lambo (…) styled wing doors and a performance jump of 50hp -540Hp in all. The latter was accomplished thanks to the new motronic programming including a new rear silencer plus a sporty high-performance header and sport steel catalyst. Check out the rest of the high-res images after the jump, but be warned, we’re still trying to find a way to erase it from our memory. Via: Le blog auto
